Storyline and World Details

---------- World ---------

The world that Sacred Earth: Bonds takes place in is a broken world consisting of one all encompassing body of water known as the 'Great Ocean' and and floating landmasses that serve as the last haven for it's inhabitants. This world is called 'Miltiades'. It is home to various races and the world itself is orbited by two moons called Monervera and Ixtanel. There are five large floating landmasses that make up the world's land. The Isle of Lumina, home to humans. The isle of Eltia, home to ther reclusive Eltian race. Vaneer, the land of Beasts. A desolate and snowly isle called Garen. And finally an unamed landmass made up of the remnants of the broken land. The technology level is one of 'Ether and Machines'. Humans are slowly phasing out the use of magic in exchange for machines while the Eltians stubbornly condemn technology and hold on to Ether Arts to do their bidding. While the Beasts have embraced technology alongside Ether Arts.

---------- Races ----------

Human

Average Lifespan: 70-80 Years

This race makes up the majority of the Lumina Continent. They are rather unremarkable beings with skills in all areas. While they aren't particularly powerful normally, they have a remarkable talent for adapting to their surroundings and using machines. Human characteristics are their rounded ears and dull hair colors.

Eltian

Average Lifespan: 250-300 Years

This race makes up the majority of the Eltian Continent. Skilled in Ether Arts and have slighty stronger constitutions than Humans. Eltians are primarily oriental in nature and are somewhat wary of outsiders. Eltian characteristics are primarily their long ears.

Beast

Average Lifespan: 100-120 Years

This race makes up the majority of the Vaneer continent. Beasts usually have monsterous physical capabilities, but low Ether potential. This is not always the case. An example would be the Feline Beast tribe, which excels in Ether Arts and speed. There are far too many characteristics to make note of for Beasts since the terms encompasses many sub races like birds, canines, felines, mermaids, snakes, and so on.

Dragon

Average Lifespan: 500-600 Years

Dragons are almighty beings surpassed only by gods. They live for centuries and possess massive physical and Ether potential. They can also take on a human shape in order to better move around society. There aren't many dragons around this day in age though. They're either hiding really well or they're dying off...

Angel

Average Lifespan: 350-400 Years

Angels are basically flying humans that live on the Blue moon orbiting Miltiades known as Monervera. They possess high Ether capabilities and somewhat long lives. There are two types of angels, those with wings attached to their backs, or those who can call forth transluscent wings at will. Those without material wings are typically weaker than those with them. Though an angel with transparent wings can work hard and become strong.

Demon

Average Lifespan: 2500-3000 Years

Demons are a weird race that lives on the Red moon orbiting Miltiades known as Ixtenel. They possess monsterous strength, Ether abilities, and terrible personalities. Demons have a broad range of characteristics ranging from leathery black wings, fangs, horns, weird hair and eye color, and longish ears.

---------- The Beginning ----------

On a cold and snowy night, two siblings travel to a forest far away. They're looking for rare medicinal herbs to cure the sickness of their father. They unfortunately find themselves lost in the enchanted forest and while wandering with no sight of the rare herb. They eventually come across an old and seemingly abandoned fortress. Upon entering however, they are attacked by a girl who calls herself Melodia and are promptly beaten... ...They soon wake up to find themselves tied up in an ordinary looking room. They can hear a discussion taking place between multiple people and after a bit, the same girl who beat them walks in, she taunts them for a bit, but Gunnar manages to catch her off guard with a special ability. Melodia gives up for now and retreats. Veili then uses a knife she had hidden in her sleeves to cut her ropes as well as her brother's. They venture out into the depths of the fortress. Intent on finding out just what's going on...
